Boardman, Wiggins, Froome……….Hosegood / Hollamby

Anderson Design & Build, courtesy of Sean Emmett, invited the in-form team pursuit riders Sharon Hosegood and Noel Durdant-Hollamby (catering and Team SHA ‘Domestique‘ ) on their 2015 charity bike ride, in aid of the National Autistic Society, taking place in and around Chelmsford on the 13th June.Having checked this year’s sporting calendar, I can confirm that this doesn’t clash with any other sporting event.

Andersens pre-race

After great success in 2014, where the total raised exceeded £33,000, Sharon, at least, looks in good shape after successfully navigating the choppy waters of business, (Oh, such is the lot of the fledgling company start-up dare-devils these days).

Not to be accused of a lack of interest though,  Noel, the company chef, was yesterday snapped by some unknown paparazzi intent on keeping up with news on the preparations of SHA for the ride :DSC_1052

Notice the price tag; Noel is either being heavily sponsored, or is taking very seriously the likelihood that being beaten by a mother of two over 50 miles on this event simply wouldn’t do. But £1200 per wheel?

We should all be thankful he’s not turning up in the company car……….

I’m off to get some Lycra.
